We are a fast growing, full line sales and service company for the light and heavy-duty automotive industry, providing quality equipment and service in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and surrounding states.
We sell and service automotive in-ground and above ground lifts, mobile column lifts, fluid pumps, tanks, reels, exhaust removal systems, air compressors, refrigerant dryers, waste oil heaters, wheel service and alignment equipment, detail equipment, and an array of hydraulic equipment.
As a Service Writer, you will be our customers' main contact for their service request.
You will provide the highest quality customer service to ensure they have a positive experience by ensuring their needs are appropriately met, providing accurate information, keeping the technicians on track to ensure timeliness of service.
The Service Writer should have superior customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities Maintain positive customer experience by providing high-quality customer support throughout the customer's experience.
Communicate service details to customers and technicians including service needs, time estimates, cost estimate, and work.
Communicate with customers in via phone or email to schedule service needs and prepare service schedule.
Ensures customer records are updated within system.
Oversees timely processing of work orders.
Maintain and expand knowledge on company services and products.
Work in a fast paced environment with change Qualifications Have a customer-first approach, ability to communicate professionally and provide excellent service to clients.
Great communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information.
Interest in mechanics and a quick learner.
Previous experience performing mechanical diagnosis preferred.
Ability to tackle challenges with a creative and flexible mindset Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, as well as be able to frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit and twist Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds without assistance Job Type:
